Why should you attend this community fundraiser?
You should attend because giving back can be simple.
You do not need to organize a major event. You do not need to write a large check. You can spend time with the people you love, enjoy an exciting evening, and help local families at the same time.
That is the power of community fundraising.
A Spirit Night brings neighbors, families, businesses, volunteers, and supporters together around one shared goal: helping people feel safer, stronger, and less alone.
Your ticket helps create resources for people facing serious challenges. It helps Friends & Allies Inc. stand beside children, families, survivors, veterans, and caregivers throughout our community.

How does fundraising support families in our community?
Fundraising helps turn compassion into practical support.
At Friends & Allies Inc., we focus on the needs that can change a person’s life immediately and for the long term. Community support helps us continue providing:
Emergency safe shelter and housing assistance for individuals and families escaping domestic violence.
Compassionate support for survivors as they work toward safety and stability.
Legal advocacy related to restraining orders and child custody arrangements.
Resources for families experiencing food insecurity.
Food insecurity programs for kids and help for hungry children.
Support for military service members, veterans, and families affected by PTSD.
Education and connections to resources that help people understand their rights and options.
When someone searches for domestic violence help, an emergency shelter near me, veteran services near me, or help for hungry children, they are often looking for more than information. They are looking for a trusted next step.
Fundraisers like Spirit Night help us keep building those next steps.
How can one fun evening make a community-wide difference?
One evening can create a ripple effect.
A child who receives food support may be able to focus at school. A survivor who receives housing assistance may have a safer path forward. A parent who receives legal advocacy may better understand options for custody or protection. A veteran’s family may find meaningful veteran mental health support or PTSD resources for families.
These needs may look different. But they are connected by one important truth: people thrive when their community shows up.
When you participate in a fundraiser, you help make that support possible. You also send a message that no neighbor should have to face hunger, violence, housing instability, or trauma alone.
That is what community working together looks like.
What should you do before Spirit Night?
Follow these simple steps.

How does Friends & Allies help children facing food insecurity?
Food insecurity affects more than what a child eats. It can affect learning, health, confidence, and a family’s overall stability.
Friends & Allies Inc. is committed to helping children and families access nutritious food and compassionate support. Fundraising helps us continue programs focused on child food insecurity, food access, and practical community care.
If you have ever searched for a food bank near me, a food pantry near me, or local food insecurity programs for kids, you understand how important accessible resources can be.
Your Spirit Night ticket helps strengthen the local network that responds to these needs.

How does Friends & Allies support survivors and veterans?
Friends & Allies Inc. takes a holistic approach to safety and stability.
For survivors of domestic violence, that may include emergency shelter, housing assistance, legal advocacy, and support while navigating restraining orders or child custody concerns. It may also include helping a survivor understand their rights and available options.
If you are learning about the signs of domestic abuse, wondering how to leave an abusive relationship, or asking how to support someone in an abusive relationship, please know that compassionate guidance matters. No one should have to navigate those questions alone.
Our mission also includes supporting military service members, veterans, and families affected by PTSD. Community support helps connect people with appropriate resources, encouragement, and services.
If you are looking for homeless veterans help, wondering how to help homeless veterans, or asking how to help veterans with PTSD, start by connecting with trusted local organizations and veteran resource providers.
Fundraisers like Spirit Night help strengthen the broader support system that families rely on.
What if you cannot attend Spirit Night?
You can still make a difference.
